MIXR vs Linktree

Linktree popularized the link-in-bio page. MIXR starts from the same idea, a single URL that replaces a bio link, and adds native AR experiences, built-in interactive games, an AI build assistant, and a CRM behind the page. This table compares the capabilities that differ; both platforms have areas outside this scope not shown here.

Who each platform fits

A creator or small business replacing a static link page: both platforms work; MIXR's free tier includes an AR business card template and a CRM, not just links.

A brand or agency running an event, pop-up, or campaign: MIXR's For Brands path publishes a live, themed microsite the same day with no signup. A game or AR scene as the campaign centerpiece is a MIXR-only option.

Someone who needs tips, donations, or a paid subscription from their audience today: Linktree ships that natively; MIXR does not yet.

Pricing

MIXR: Starter is free. Pro is $15/mo ($10/mo billed annually). Business is $50/mo ($37.50/mo, $450/yr billed annually). Pioneer is custom, for agencies needing white-labeling and custom work. Full breakdown at mixr.link/pricing.

Questions

Is MIXR free?

Yes. The Starter plan is free and includes one active project, a handful of AR and game templates, and a 50-contact CRM. Paid plans start at $15/mo (Pro) for unlimited projects, the full template library, and analytics.

What does MIXR do that Linktree does not?

MIXR pages can be AR experiences (an image-tracked business card, motion or surface tracking) or built-in games used as a lead-capture gate, both built in-editor with an AI assistant, JADE. Linktree is a link page with commerce and monetization add-ons; it does not offer AR or built-in games.

Can an AI agent operate my MIXR account for me?

Not yet as a general capability. One endpoint lets an outside caller create and publish a new MIXR microsite with no login (see /docs/agents). Operating an existing account (editing experiences, reading CRM data) still requires the MIXR browser app; a remote MCP server for that is planned, not shipped.

Who is MIXR for?

Creators and small businesses replacing a static link-in-bio page, brands and agencies running an event or pop-up campaign who want a live page the same day, and teams that want lead capture with a CRM behind the page rather than just link clicks.
